Wallabies and Brumbies lock Rory Arnold has shunned big money in France to commit to Australian rugby for the next three years through to the next World Cup.

Arnold made his Wallabies debut against England in June and went on to become a solid performer, especially on the recent European Tour.

According to French media reports, Toulon recently offered the big lock 400,000 euros ($A570,000) per year to join fellow Australians Matt Giteau, James O'Connor and Liam Gill at the glamour club.
